Mark’s New Chapter

As some of you might know, RPM Fest was our last show for the foreseeable future with our keyboardist, Mark, because he has moved down to Florida. He has a very new chapter of his life ahead of him, with a baby on the way.

Mark is one of the founding members of Vacant Eyes – I remember us jamming down in my filthy basement 10 years ago, playing along to early versions of “The Cortex” and “Indifference”, to some drum tracks I made on Guitar Pro, because we didn’t have a drummer yet. We’ve known each other since middle school and have been in a few bands together before this, since high school. He is a self-taught, metal-as-hell keyboardist, educated composer of music, genuine and caring friend, badass percussionist, and soon-to-be amazing father. We wish him the best with his soon-to-be family and new life.

With that being said, he will still be writing with us – the internet can be a wonderful thing – but our live shows will go on without him. We will miss his fantastic presence on stage.

See everyone soon!

Keep it dark, beautiful, and inspiring.
–Josh
